How we
verify prices
Every price on GLP1Compared.co.uk is checked manually against each pharmacy's published pricing. Here is exactly how we do it.
Our verification process
Prices for GLP-1 medications change regularly — sometimes weekly. A figure that was accurate last month may no longer be correct. We check every listed price manually each week, directly from each pharmacy's own published pricing pages.
01
GPhC registration check
Before a pharmacy is added to our database, we verify its registration on the
GPhC pharmacy register. We record the premises registration number and link directly to the GPhC verification page. Only active, currently registered pharmacies are included. We do not list overseas providers, unregistered services, or pharmacies that have received formal GPhC enforcement action.
02
Direct price collection
Prices are collected directly from each pharmacy's published product pages — the same pages a patient would visit to place an order. We record the price for each drug at each available dose. Where a pharmacy shows a price as part of a plan or subscription, we note this clearly. We do not use estimates, averages from third-party sources, or scraped data from other comparison sites.
03
What the price includes
We record prices as published — typically the cost per month of medication at a given dose, including consultation fee where applicable. Where a pharmacy charges separately for consultation, delivery, or support services, we note this. We do not adjust or normalise prices between providers, as the service included varies and patients should evaluate this themselves.
04
Weekly update cycle
Prices are checked and updated weekly. Each listing shows the date it was last verified. If a price changes between our weekly checks, users can report it using the tip form on any price table — we review and update submissions within 48 hours.
05
Trustpilot scores
Trustpilot scores displayed in each pharmacy panel are collected from
Trustpilot.com at the time of our weekly verification. They reflect the pharmacy's overall rating at that point. We link directly to the pharmacy's Trustpilot page so users can read reviews in full.

What we do not check
We do not assess the clinical quality of a pharmacy's prescribing service. We do not evaluate the consultation process in detail, the qualifications of individual prescribers, or the pharmacy's clinical governance arrangements. For that, the GPhC inspection reports — available at inspections.pharmacyregulation.org — are the appropriate source.
We also do not verify stock availability in real time. A pharmacy listed as offering a medication may have supply delays. Always confirm availability directly with the pharmacy before starting a new treatment.
How to report an error
If you see a price that looks out of date, a pharmacy that is no longer offering a medication, or any other inaccuracy, please use the tip form below any price table on the site. Include the pharmacy name, medication, dose, and the price you saw, and a link to the page if possible. We review all submissions and update within 48 hours.
Spotted a price we have wrong? Use the tip form on any price table — the button is labelled "Seen a cheaper price? Let us know →". We check every submission and update the listing at the next weekly verification, or sooner if the change is significant.
Commercial relationships and independence
GLP1Compared.co.uk earns referral fees when users click through to a pharmacy and complete a purchase. These fees do not affect how we collect, present, or rank prices. Pharmacies are ranked by price only. A pharmacy that pays a referral fee does not receive preferential placement, and pharmacies that do not yet have a referral arrangement are listed on exactly the same terms.
For more detail on how the site works commercially, see the About page.
